We are followers of Jesus Christ whose example inspires us to build creative lives based on love and inclusion. We do this as a community of faith, as an urban parish, and as the Cathedral of the Diocese of Missouri.

We're having a parish Picnic -- food, fun and fellowship June 8 at Tower Grove Park.
We'll provide the chicken and beverages; if you bring a side or dessert. We'll provide the games; if you provide the skill. And we'll provide the setting; if you provide the conversation. The picnic is set for noon to 3:30 p.m. at the West End picnic site at the historic Tower Grove Park.
The park is bordered by Kingshighway (west) and Grand (east) and Arsenal (south) and Magnolia (north). Our site is near the entrance of Kingshighway and Arsenal. Sign-up sheets (so we can get an accurate idea of who's coming) will be posted in the hallway of the Bishop Tuttle Memorial Building. For information, contact Lorraine Kee or call (314) 231-3454.

This spring the adult education forums will focus on prayer. We will be examining the Book of Common Prayer, the prayers within and how they can be used in our daily lives. We will also be looking at various prayer disciplines, including the Anglican rosary; the Prayer Quilt Ministry, and the book

May 11 Forgiveness and Reconciliation The Rev. Mike Kinman will wrap up our spring series with a forum on forgiveness and reconciliation in our prayer life, with one another and in our relationship with God.

Other Opportunities to Serve Our Community:
Would you like to be part of a
two-person team leading Morning Prayer in the Chapel one Saturday a month? Are you available to be part of the
Pastoral Care Team that writes and sends cards to our sick and homebound parishioners on a rotating basis monthly? Could you volunteer one Sunday afternoon a month to
pick up the leftovers from Einstein’s Bagels on Clayton Road and deliver them to Centenary Methodist Church for use with the Breakfast Club? For further info, contact Franklin Kline at
franklinkline@sbcglobal.net.
Can You Hard-Boil Eggs? Volunteers are needed to cook and bring three dozen (or six dozen if you like) hard-boiled eggs to the Davis Room refrigerator once a month. The eggs are used to feed our homeless downtown neighbors on Saturday mornings. Just pick a date, sign up and bring your eggs the Sunday before your Saturday. You are asked to commit for six months, and you will receive a reminder call one week in advance. If you can help, please sign up on the bulletin board in the hallway or contact Kathy Rogers
